Delivering relevant content to the right audiences is the key to high engagement, but it still can be a major challenge for marketers to get right. For large brands with hundreds of thousands (or even millions!) of followers, generating accurate buyer personas can end up being an overwhelming task.
Running many different campaigns, it can be equally tough to get to know unique audience personas for each campaign in detail – especially if the analysis is attempted manually.
So how can you let Socialbakers Suite do the heavy lifting? With automated labeling, you'll be able to quickly group and categorize all your content to not only analyze its performance, but also to generate specific audience personas based on labels. Save time on manual work, so you can spend more of it creating awesome, tailored content. Let’s take a closer look at how to do just that.
Instantly Organize Content with Automated Labeling
To quickly organize and label all your posts, without having to do it all by hand, leverage automated rule-based labeling in Suite.
Just set up different rules for the different labels you want – say, for example, different labels for your different campaigns, product launches, or product lines. Activate the rules, and Suite will automatically label your content – past, present, and future.
What's a rule? A rule is a set of text conditions, specified by you, that you can use to label many posts at once. If a post fits the conditions, your chosen label will automatically be added to it. A rule can be set across many different profiles and platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Youtube.
As a fashion and beauty brand, for example, you might want to put all your men’s fall fashion posts under one label and women’s summer fashion under another. Once you've created your custom rules, Suite will start labeling, allowing you to be more responsive and up-to-date in your analysis. With rules running behind the scenes, it’s much easier to get insight about how specific campaigns are performing. Just analyze the content by labels.
As mentioned, the performance of particular campaigns isn’t the only insight labeling can provide. It can also give you a detailed look into different audience segments engaging with specific campaigns – powerful insights that can inform your future content strategy. Let's check out what this looks like in Suite.
Build Typical Audience Personas from Labels
Large brands have diverse audiences, and they all need to be catered to a bit differently. Find out more about your distinct audience personas and connect with them more authentically by pairing Suite’s automated labeling with Audience Persona Mapping.
Head over to the Audiences section in Suite. Select which Facebook profile and/or Google Analytics account you would like to generate audience personas for. Then, you can Filter by Post Labels and Post Type, including Organic or Paid. In this case, we'll look at filtering by labels.
Now it’s easy to see the types of people who are really interested in, say, your “Men’s Fall Fashion” campaign message or "Women's Winter Campaign" videos – and you can continue to improve your messaging for these audience personas next time around. How do these audience personas evolve over time? With each campaign? It's important to always check back in on them to see if your improved messaging is really making an impact and drawing in new audiences.
Also be sure to leverage these audience persona insights across all your biggest decisions on social. Right in Suite, find influencers these personas will likely trust and connect with, be inspired by the content they’re already engaging with, and target posts directly to them.
