It’s safe to say that live video is on every marketer’s mind for 2018. In fact, it's changing how audiences interact with videos on social. More engaging than native video, it generates 10 times the number of interactions and comments. Clearly, this is a social media format that is worth implementing. Have you successfully integrated this increasingly popular video format into your strategy?
Without a detailed look at live video performance, it can be difficult to know which livestream content is the most engaging. Having this knowledge for the live video of your competitors gives you an advantage of recognizing what works for them or what doesn’t. As a result, you can adjust your own strategy.

Live video tracking is available in the Enterprise package, with one free slot for analyzing videos from a profile of your choice added.
Start analyzing live videos
You might be wondering how to get started with your own Live Video Analysis. Firstly, login to Suite and open the Profile section of Settings. If you are an account admin, you are able to set which of your monitored Facebook profiles should be tracked for live videos. Otherwise, contact you account admin to set this up for you.
You can activate the tracking for multiple profiles (up to the limit of your account) and switch these profiles at any point in time. But be careful, we only take into account the live video metrics at the time the tracking is on for the profile.
Also, when the tracking is on for the profile, all users of the account will be notified that the profile is live and we’re “recording” the metrics.
Finally, when monitoring dozens of profiles, you might find it useful to see which profiles are actually being tracked. In fact, all users can see this in the Overview section of Analytics and in every Facebook profile detail.
You can use notifications to jump to the detail of live videos in a matter of seconds. When you do this, you’ll get to the live stream and will see the evolution of Video Viewers and Interactions live. For later analysis, there’s a new filter which might help you find the live videos published earlier on. You can find it in the Content section of the profile detail or the Content Newsfeed.
If you don’t want to receive notifications about a profile going live, you can easily configure the live video notifications in Settings.
