Your Socialbakers Suite experience starts with adding new data sources to monitor, including your owned and public profiles, ads accounts, and web analytics data. What you choose to add is up to you, and really depends on what your measurement and benchmarking needs are. Of course, the more data sources you have connected, the more complete your picture will be, allowing you to make the most informed decisions based on the full story.
Owned, Private Profiles
Adding your owned, private profiles is a smart place to start. Let's see how it's done. After logging into Socialbakers Suite, you will find the +Add a Social Profile button in the upper right corner of your screen.
When you click it, the pop-up shown below will prompt you to choose the types of connections you would like to add.
From there, let's click on Add Private Profiles to get started with our owned profiles. Having these added to Suite will start you off on the right foot. Choose the social network you would like to connect your owned profiles for. Once you make your selection, you will be directed to authorize your account. That's it! Your first owned, private profile has been added.
Adding Public Profiles
Next, let's add a public profile to monitor. Usually this is where you would want to add competitors you'd like to analyze, or perhaps even inspirational profiles whose content performance you're interested in. Adding the right profiles will give you deep insight about how you stack up against competitors, in your industry, and in the wider social landscape.
Back at the main menu, choose Add Public Profile. Once you do so, you'll see this screen pop up, prompting you to input the name or URL of a social profile. Here, we searched for Pepsi, with the following results.
Adding Ad Accounts
To connect your ad accounts to Suite, you can follow the same process. Click on Connect Ad Accounts from the main pop up. From there, you'll be directed to the Data Connections part of Suite, where you can easily get set up. Once you've landed in Ads Accounts, click the Connect Ad Account button to the right. Having these connections is crucial to get an all-in-one view of your social performance, ROI, and attribution.
Adding Web Analytics
To connect your web analytics data to Suite, you guessed it, start from the main popup. Click on Connect Web Analytics. From there, you'll be directed to the Data Connections part of Suite once again. If you're connecting your Ads Accounts and Web Analytics data in tandem, there's no need to leave the Data Connections section. Just connect both right then and there.
